Rear Window Project - Update 02/28/2002

The trunk lid is in place to check how it lines up with the decklid
before any welding is done. Some adjustments are needed.

Glue from the vinyl top has been removed so that new paint can
be applied in case water gets below the new vinyl.

A side view of the decklid alignment.

A red material was used previously to level the surface. All this
will be removed and the top will receive a new coat of primer.

No that's not rust, it's some kind of glue underneath the old paint
that was probably left over from the original vinyl top.
